I'm going to be gone for a couple of days.
We have to admit Aidan into the hospital tonight.
He has had a fever up and down since Sunday and it's jumped as high as 105.5
I had to call 911 yesterday(Wed) because he was going into shock.
Needless to say, this hasn't been an easy week for me, i'm mentally drained, going in and out of hospitals and having the HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experiences that I had to deal with in the hospitals that we had went to.
We took Aidan to see his peditrican again today, because his fever isnt breaking, and he's been to TWO different hospitals, and the first hospital said "he seems to be a bit dehydrated" gave him and IV. They said "if his fever gets above 101.1 bring him back" YET WHEN WE WHERE THERE HIS FEVER NEVER EVEN WENT BELOW 101 so I DONT KNOW WHY THEY SENT US HOME!!
The other hospital gave us an IV and said he has scarlet fever (w/out running blood work) and sent us home.
So we took him back to his ped DR today and she looked him over and said that he has symptons that seems like it might be KAWASAKI DISEASE. :|
It hasn't been ruled out yet, but she just said it seems that might be what he has. He has the red, bump raised skin rash, high fever, swollen hands/feet, strawberry tongue, red throat, and all of the other symptons that go along with it.
He hasn't eaten anything since Sunday, and we are forcing fluids on him, but he isnt getting in more then 3-4oz and he needs more of he can have brain damage.
Like I said, I'm going to be gone for a few days if they decide to admit him, but we are taking him to a childrens hospital.
