Sunday was a terrible day. Arsenal fans watched what can only in retrospect be described as a comic performance by a professional football team. The following 24 hours were pretty dark as the Twitterverse and all other forms of social media imploded with the taunting of Manchester United fans (and others) and the collective wails of Arsenal fans. There was some snickering at the calls for the manager's head and a moment of pure love when reports of Van Persie's leadership of his teammates surfaced (Jack Wilshire's comment to fans was also really sweet).
So. . . . I have been distracted. But there is good news. Transfer window hasn't closed and signings show promise. Let it be another 100 years before we have to see that kind of final score again!
