Summary of Muse: Having joined the force in January 2003, Anna Morasca quickly earned herself a spot as one of New York City's homicide detectives after her erratic investigative methods helped Queens Homicide catch a modern day Green River serial killer. Anna trained under Detective William Carson until she was offered up to a joint taskforce with the local Vice unit where she spent six months undercover to bring down a prostitution ring and the men responsible for the death of two decorated NYPD officers. Anna began work with the New York City Crime Lab in the fall of 2006 with her partner Detective Carson until his "retirement" a year later.
With a new partner, Detective Angela Beretti she went back to homicide cases for the 12th precinct and in January of 2008, her Captain assigned her solo work as a liaison to the Crime Lab under the supervision of Detective Mac Taylor.
While she primarily teams up with Mac's CSI detectives, she will occasionally work various cases -- generally unusual cases or those requiring a profiler -- with partner Beretti as they come her way.
