Got a poem accepted for publication, unexpectedly. It was one I submitted like... months ago, and I'd completely forgotten the submission until I got the email today.

Tonight's historical society meeting was pretty sweet - we learned about these things called spungs which are ponds that were formed from way back when this area was a big hunk of ice. All the way up to 12,000 years ago or so, South Jersey had permafrost just like up in the arctic. They talked about how the ecology of the area affected what ( Read more... )
