that sandwich heating thing sounds like the best thing ever invented though. I used to have something like it....I would put my sandwich in this iron thing and then hold it over the burners and turn in back and forth. I think it was actually something for camping, to hold over the fire, but I used it in the kitchen :)

Set two peeps on the place of combat (paper plate) and arm each one properly with a lance (toothpick). As peeps are chivalrous, though immobile creatures, it is only right and just to ensure that neither one's weapon is closer than the other's, lest honor be slighted. Set the place of combat within the arena of truth (microwave) and declare the duration of battle. The battle ends when one combatant is pierced by the other's lance and yields the field.
