It's been 1 year 8 months since the Sakurai & Matsumoto pair appeared in Gekkan Arashi!! Continuing from Crepe (Kurepu), they chose Pu-erh tea (Pu-erh cha). And they visited a Chinese tea house.
(The theme for the interview is decided by the last word/character from the previous interview's theme.)
Pu-erh tea
First, they looked at various tea leaves & learnt some basic knowledge about them. After that, they were given 3 types of Pu-erh tea and they were asked to guess which is the most expensive one.
They sampled each tea carefully & they both got it right! As a reward, they got to taste the super expensive Pu-erh tea which is priced at 1g for 5000yen!

(Left) The 70 year old Pu-erh tea. "Smells like the cupboard in my Grandma's house [laughs]."
(Right) Connoisseur MatsuJun's thoughts: "I like this the most. It's vintage, like wine."
(Left) "It's all Pu-erh tea but the 4 types have totally different taste & aroma. Amazing~"
(Right) Soup dumplings with tea leaves! They eat it carefully so that the meat juice doesn't spill.
Oolong tea
Using high grade Lishan Oolong tea leaves, they learn how to brew Oolong tea. They observe the teacher's actions very closely.
When they heard that males & females have different ways of holding tea cups, they were surprised & they both went "EHH~!" The one showed in the picture above is the male way of holding tea cups called "sanryu kotei"
Pour the tea into the tea-sniffing cup & then transfer it into the serving cup. Matsumoto was elegantly sniffing the tea aroma leftover in the tea-sniffing cup. Beside him, Sakurai was making a funny face [laughs].
Sakurai was intrigued by the boiling of the Oolong tea. "This is Oolong tea? It's like Green tea." Sakurai]
"This smells really~ good! I might really buy some back." [Matsumoto]
Sakurai tries his hands in pouring the hot water & handling the tea apparutus. "For the guest first" And he pours some tea for Matsumoto.
They had some Jasmine tea tarts and Chinese tea cookies. They cheers with the tea. "It's like we're drinking wine/alcohol [laughs]."
They almost got pro-wrestling, but this time let's have a soothing/calming interview ♥
Sho: Well, well~ This is another great theme ne~
Jun: Yeah! It was really dangerous.
Sho: Yes, yes. If we didn't think of Pu-erh tea (for this interview's theme), it might have pro-wrestling (puro-resu) [laughs].
Last interview's theme "Crepe (kurepu)" could be linked to "Pu-erh tea (Pu-erh cha)" OR "pro-wrestling (puro-resu)".
Jun: When I heard about it, they seem to be going for pool (puru).
Sho: Yeah, and there aren't many words that start with "pu" to begin with.
Jun: What other choices were there?
Sho: Plastic models (pura moderu), pool (puru)... When it came to pro-wrestling (puro-resu), Aiba-chan & Nino's tension suddenly went up & said this is good! You guys said so cuz you're not involved in the interview right? [laughs]
Hahaha. I'm on Aiba & Nino's side too! XDD *grins*
Jun: We have concert rehearsals after this. It's a relief that we weren't made to do pro-wrestling before that. And thanks to the tea, I feel very refreshed! We had a soothing/calming experience before going for concert rehearsals.
Sho: It's great that we thought of Pu-erh tea~ We got to learn about the world of Chinese tea. And we got to spend some very relaxing/calming time.
Jun: That's right. I feel like I'm at home.
Sho: Ah~ It's really relaxing/comfortable ♥
Jun: The clear colour of Pu-erh tea is really soothing. The 70 year old Pu-erh tea was especially delicious. The mild & subtle taste is good.
Sho: When you go to China & you'd want to buy some tea as souvenirs, but you don't know how to go about buying them & you're really lost for choice ne. Like when I went Beijing recently, I was really at a loss when buying tea at the airport.
Jun: Yeah, you wouldn't know what to choose ne~
Sho: But I learnt it properly this time, my motivation to buy tea has gone up. And I have mastered the manly way of drinking tea too. I might become popular~ ♥

Jun: I think I might really drink it at home.
Sho: It's not just drinking tea. Somehow it's very enjoyable. And it smells good too. I like the aroma of new Oolong tea.
Jun: In order for people to enjoy the fragrance of the tea, they use tea-sniffing cups which retain the aroma better. This cup smells really good. It's like cookies [laughs].
