Yesterday was a visit to the Doctor's for an update and things aren't great, I haven't managed to control the illness yet. However the doc thinks that the massive snow this winter, and the limited ability to walk outside and eating more processed food instead of fresh whole foods have impacted my health and now that the snow is leaving (almost gone!) I'll bounce back. *fingers crossed*

I was to physio today for my knees, she introduced another exercise for me to do at home. Everything seems to be about strengthening my butt muscles, I had to ask. Apparently almost all muscles around the knees (maybe all.. I didn't catch every word) originate around your hips and butt. So when you have bad knees they make you exercise your bum muscles. :)

She did acupuncture today then taped my knees up with super strong tape instead of the regular Athelete tape. In an odd quirk, I received a call a few hours later that my knee braces had finally arrived, and I need to make an appointment to ensure they fit properly. However this taping stuff lasts for a few days, and I can't see them fitting the braces with the tape on. What to do, what to do?

Overall I feel pretty darn good. I'm trying my best to walk with good posture, and I'm really trying to focus on being positive. I really do enjoy people who have a positive attitude, and I'm trying my best to mould myself into one on the outside. I think I am a realist with optimistic leanings on the inside, but I tend not to smile, so I think most people assume I'm not happy. Trying to smile more, and the end of winter is a great reason for us on the East Coast of Canada.
