Busy...busy
I'm in this strange lull between storms of busyness, it seems. Last week was the last week of classes and my final is already written, so I'm twiddling my thumbs a bit until they take it. After final grades are turned in, we've got a quick trip to the Bay Area planned for the ABL party followed immediately by a house-hunting trip to Michigan. All of our travel details are pretty much set at this point and we're pre-approved for a mortgage big enough to buy any house we might be interested in (that isn't intended as a brag...more of a comment on the inexpensive housing market), so now it's mostly just a matter of waiting and seeing if we like any of the available houses when we get there.
There are a few little details I need to work on in the next couple of days (send list of interesting houses to realtor so she can schedule viewings for the first two days we're in town, email future coworkers about getting together for work and/or social chats, etc), but I feel like I mostly have to sit here and wait. It's a little unnerving to be honest :-)
