I think that hot young FDR sums up Christmas pretty well for me, but I guess I can go into detail, lol. Mmm, I traded in a calender my Aunt Czarina gave to me (because I already bought one) for a book on the presidents just for this picture though.
I had fun on Christmas but it didn't really feel like a holiday. I was wearing my brand spanking new Re-Animator shirt and we got to my grandma's house at like, one because my grandpa wanted everyone there early or something.
Of course, my uncle and new aunt didn't arrive until about four. *facepalm* So I was reading Harry Potter for three hours while my mom and my grandma bustled about the kitchen. But I love him and Rosa is so funny. So we had a million hour discussion about what we thought would happen in the seventh book and I was like, OH SHIT, R.A.B. is Regulus Black! It has to be right? I mean, right?
Also, I've decided that in the last book, Harry's going to wake up in his broom closet to Dudley stomping around on the stairs and the last line will be, "Harry kicked the stool out from under him, knowing he could never heal from this emotional scar." XD Okay, that's terrible.
But yea, then all my extended family came and it was fun. We didn't open presents until about eight and my mom had fallen asleep in the other room because she had to be at work at midnight. So, by then I was really really tired because I'd been up since six in the morning. My cousins got the bulk of hte presents because they're on a plane to Rome today. Tatiana's school choir is going to sing for the Pope. (The new Pope, blaaaah, but still cool, lol.) I did get a sweet fifty dollar gift certificate for Barnes and Noble though and a nice looking new journal.
So I had a good time. In conclusion, kittens!
Aww, they're so sleepy.
Edit: Also, look at
this because I'm ever so amused by it.
