I am missing Geoff and Basil so much. I know I should be home in 10 days, but sometimes it seems like the closer I get the longer it's taking. I was looking at some more photos from this summer and thought I'd post a few more...
This is Geoff trying out his camping expresso maker for the first time. He adores this thing. He just crawled out of the tent, lit the propane, and the expresso was done in less than a minute.
My family - Basil, Miss Kitty, and Geoff. I can't wait to see them all again soon!
People have asked me what it was like travelling 6,000 miles with a dog. It could certainly get monotonous at times. Here's a couple of pictures of Basil spending his time in the van.
And finally, I had to share this. Geoff is really NOT a cat person, but at the petting zoo/B&B place we stayed at for a couple days (while the owners were gone), this big muscular tom cat just came right into our apartment, hissed at our dog, and decided to jump up on Geoff's lap and DEMAND some attention. It was so funny and I'm glad I had the camera out. This cat definately ruled the farm with an iron paw.
