Is it sad when the highlight of your day is being able to catch the A-train both to and from work?
I was handed over half a dozen manuscripts today to evaluate. By some random fluke, three of them were very good (which is three more than average). Anita's buying at least one. Crushing dreams has its merits and all, but every once in a while, it feels good to be able to say "congratulations" instead of shipping out a form letter that politely informs the writer not to quit his day job.
Oops . . . I shouldn't have said that. Ah well, it's too hot today ;)
