And the good news is….

The good news is, that the rectal probe didn't really find anything serious. Well, hopefully not serious. I have a bit of stuff going off for a biopsy, but they didn't seem concerened. Maybe that's just the way they are.. don't get excited until you find out what it is. Other than that I have diva.. no, diverticulosis. Which isnt' what my grandmother had, which was divaticulitis. It's the step before that. Learn something new every day. Basicly its little baloons blowing up off my colon, which can then trap bacteria. I guess. If it gets really bad, it can leak through, which would then be divaticulitis. My grandmother had that and couln't eat a ton of things, anything that might get stuck in those pockets and cause an infection and pain. So she would pop the peas out of their casings, one by one.... it was a ritual. lol. Anyway..

So they didn't find anything that I can really say is the cause of my issues, unless it's the divaticulosis... but I'm not sure it woudl be. They describe pain in the left front from that, and I get issues in my left back and around my tailbone.. not quite the same. I'll have to ask about that when I talk to the doctor. Also my ribs continue to give me issues.. so I guess its back to the primary care to see what they think that might be. Overall, I feel better, probably because I've been completely cleaned out. But I dont know if what's going on is solved, or just not what I thought it was. I am very relived that there isn't a huge clump of cancer in there.. of course that's just one segment of the innards in there... I can speculate on other stuff now.

I do have to report that the worst part of the whole thing was drinking the magneesium citrate was the worst part of the whole thing. A: the tates of that stuff is just so fucking lemmony. If I could have just chugged it, it would have been fine, but you cant. And when you pause, you taste it, and then you ahve to clear it out.. ick. It was bad enough the first 1/2, but the second half I had to activly NOT think of tossing my cookies to keep it down.  And then when the second half cleared out.. wow.. talk about battery acid!  Not pleasant overall to prepare for but...

The procedure was a breeze. I've never been put out before, other than basically passing out under Nubane when I was in labor, but this was just instant out , and then instant on when they were done. If I ever need to be put to sleep, and not the temporary kind, that's the ticket. I felt nothing. I didnt even dream. Just out like a light.

Well, that's that for the moment.... wait and see now for what's next.
