Cold snap in the spring
Did I mention the snow? Yes, we awoke to snow yesterday morning. A layer of icy snow on the grass and cars, though the streets were clear by the time we got up, with help from the salt trucks it seems. I thought we were all done with that shit.. Now here we are at 34', and last night I took my new pansies off the porch and put them in the back hall, where I hope they won't freeze. Enough of this! It's also very windy and although nice when the sun is out, I went for a walk yesterday, today it was very raw when the clouds came over. I had the windows open last weekend, now the heat is on like the middle of winter!
So I've gained back 10 lbs now, and that's it. Done. So I have managed to start back down again, 3 lbs. I am quite determined to get back down again. Talking to Cuz about it she said we have been working harder lately but that has nothing to do with the 3 lbs. It's the food. Back to granola bars for breakfast rather than bagels. Packed lunch rather than soup and bread at Panara. Yeah.. it does make a huge difference. Though I do so love the bagels.
It's been so cold that the cats are now sleeping on the bed again, one for each of us this morning. They have been driving me nuts lately. When it was warm, they were walking over my head to look out the open window. Now they are getting picky over food. They are hungry, but they wont eat what they are given. Then it goes bad in the bowl.. or bad in their view. sigh… Cats.
Watching something about Queen Victoria and her children. What a bitch! Wow.
The talk last weekend was about Lizzie Borden and the murder of her parents. FYI T.
The boy enjoyed his time in NY. I'm putting off anything to do with college. I have no idea what I'm doing. He has to make some choices and sign up for stuff.. 'sigh'.
It doesn't look like he's going to the Prom. He's not doing the Senior night thing. He's a prisoner of his own doubts at times. But whatever. History repeats itself. Pretty sure my brother didn't do the Prom.
Ive had totally vivid and strange dreams but of course I cant recall most of them. I do remember bits.. nothing to write about.
FB debates have picked up a bit.. more time wasting entertainment.
