The cats are demanding food, my finger tip is cracked and split so typing is painful..
The gun debate may now once again go into full rage. And the ever odd result in this horrific shooting, besides the fact that once again mental health issues will be ignored, is that every time this happens and the reaction by the anti- gun groups is 'more laws' 'ban assault weapons', the more assault weapons and guns will fly off the shelves of gun stores. Its' been happening since before Obama was elected, and continues to this day, because they know that eventually, one of these wacko events will trigger a backlash and they will re instate the aw ban... but the pre ban guns will still be legal so get 'em while you can, even if you have no use for them. It's an investment! The price skyrockets. You have to know gun owners and gun culture to understand how this all works, and you have to realize that gun owners HATE this kind of event. Hate it.
More later maybe.
Christmas party tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing the Islanders again. Going to try my new Garmen to get us safely to and from the party. lol
Met up with some of my father's friends at lunch to find out about a 90 year old friend who was recently in the hospital. On the way out, there was a pile of coins in the parking lot. But said pile was in dog do. Don't ask why, I have no idea. One almost envisioned a camera on us to see what we would do. Mostly pennies and nickels, but at the bottom I could see a Kennedy half dollar. Well, given that I step in dog shit all day at work, I sacrificed the bottom of my shoe to scrap out the 50 cent piece. Pushed it over to the sand, ground it into the dirt until it was mostly clean, then put it in a paper towel snot rag. It lt cleaned up nice. (I purelled it too, after bleaching it.) 1989 coin. Still, a pile of coins in shit.... strange.
