Molded

Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow?

I need to send my doctor an email about my DOT physical that I hope she will just sign off on. Did I mention that already?

I'm making candy molds of coffins and skeletons. Thanks Wilton and Michaels. Of course one coffin took half a bag of candy to form. Unfortunately the melting chocolate they sell really isn't' that tasty. Hopefully it will look cute though. If it didn't' take so much chocolate I'd make a bunch, but now I'm not sure how many I can make.

Looks like I'm not going to be a bridesmaid (yeah, right). I was actually really anticipating Grafix's wedding. Might be one of the last ones I get to go to in my generation. I guess I'll have to hold out for Sushi's? (heavy sigh)

I keep forgetting to update on Mrs. Moose. Seems her daughter (grain of salt people, grain of salt) was poisoned at school. She was rushed to the hospital. Of course, the thread on FB that was later removed said something about her being suspended, and I gather it was for a week from what I read, and I just don't seem to think that an innocent girl would be suspended for being poisoned. So what do you think? Hash brownies? I don't know. Mrs Moose has of course now OWNED the role of not only part time after school comedy instructor, but now she is a full fledged (substitute) teacher! The role of a lifetime. Her true calling... Funny I was just re- reading about how she was trying to find a way to be a happy homemaker. I wonder if when the SHTF she will one again have 'back issues'? Its always good to have that in reserve. I think the cancer was a bit over the top and she realized that. She never mentions cancer anymore, or her son being deaf. (I got betta).

I was at a town function the other night and one young man got up to speak. He was explaining that he had just moved into the town a few months before and yada yada yada.. My friend Kathy was whispering to me he shouldn't get to speak until he's lived here at least five years. We were joking about his age. Well, later, I noticed him talking to someone, and I kid you not, he was sucking on some kind of lollypop. I poked Kathy and we both had a good laugh over it. If he had a beanie on his head he could not have looked any more immature.

Cuz and I cleaned out the garage some today. It's good because it gets rid of crap, and it shows her where stuff is. Found two previously found small metal markers that I had tagged for what lot they belonged to. She was going to set them in concrete (this is a project she has been working on, making markers for some unmarked graves) but when we checked the lot, the names were already on the stone. These are very nicely made temporary markers, that some people have used as permanent markers. They must have been removed when the stone was put in. So they don't need to be set on the grave and are really just junk metal, except because they have names and dates and are obviously from a cemetery, I don't even think I should really put them out for the junk metal. I think we will end up putting them in a foundation, so they are gone but don't cause a scandal.

Speaking of junk metal, did I mention that it took less then 10 minutes for the pile of metal I put on the side of the road to be picked up? Seriously, have you ever seen so many metal rats? That's my brother's term. I passed by a house with a dumpster on the side for renovations, and two guys were pulling out stuff, anything metal. Is the price that good or are people that desperate to make a buck? Or both? Waste not want not,but wow!
