Bugs
I encountered two praying mantis today. One was a bright green and I moved it to another location so it wouldn't be weed whipped. The other was a brown color on a tree leaf, maybe 30 feet from the other one. I wonder if they were mates? I left that one alone. Hopefully they find each other, and there will be more mantis in the world. Of course, as I understand it, the female will eat the male. Such is love.
Mantis are so cool. I love the way they look at you and follow what you do with their huge alien heads. Very neat.
