I encountered two praying mantis today.  One was a bright green and I moved it to another location so it wouldn't be weed whipped. The other was a brown color on a tree leaf, maybe 30 feet from the other one. I wonder if they were mates? I left that one alone.  Hopefully they find each other, and there will be more mantis in the world. Of course,

If I bit of his head, that would leave a bad taste in my mouth. Think I'll leave that to the mantises.
