I talked to my uncle today. While he seemed in good spirits considering, it does seem I am to be his executrix. Seems to be my calling. I hope he has a better lawyer than my father did. He has to put all his ducks in a row on paper, but he just wanted to run it by me. Apparently his son's ex wife is giving the fiance a run for her money by taking

What's an executrix?

It's the feminine form of Executor, as in the person who takes care of your estate once you die. A person in a will is named the Executor, and they handle disposing of the property and such, as stated in the will. In this day and age I think it means you are the person who calls the lawyer.
