Pounding

My horrid night of headache ridden sleep, or lack there of, ended this morning with a dream where I was trying to text my son on a huge cell phone but then I realized he didn't have a cell phone with him. I forget why I needed to get a hold of him, I think it was to tell him I couldn't pick him up or something. One of those frustrating dreams. Which fits considering my horrid night.

I don't know what caused my headache. It might have been the smoke from the BBQ I guess, but I was feeling okay when we left Sushi's. I went to bed early because I was feeling lousy, and I just never really got any good sleep because the pain just got worse and by the time 1:00 rolled around, I just wanted to vomit and get whatever it was in me out. The only other two times I've had a migraine, that is what stopped the pain. I don't think this was a migraine, it wasn't quite as bad, but it was a really bad headache. By the time I got up this morning it was pretty much gone, although my neck was still stiff which had been part of it. So I was paranoid it was going to come back. And I wanted desperately to sleep late but my back was killing me from the evil bed. So I went out onto the couch for a while and rested there. Then I took two more tylenal and I felt fine after that.

I just got a flash back to one of my dreams last night. It had something to do with putting a coffin in one of the old tombs. For some reason we ended up just opening the door and shoving the coffin in quick, but I don't know why. That's one I'd like to know more about.

I love this weather, even thought I still don't feel like doing much. Today we went mattress shopping kind of, but the lady said that they didn't make two sided mattresses anymore, that if that's what I want (and I do) it would have to be from someone who made mattresses, not one of the big brand names. I had looked up Gardiner mattress before I left, and I'm thinking that they might be where we end up. But she did say that I should contact the place we got our current mattress and see if they will do anything for us since this one is so bad. I don't think they will, because I think the damn thing has to be three or six inches down (or something like that) to be defective. Whatever it is, I won't buy another one. At this point I think a plywood board and a mattress topper would be more comfortable.

So Himself did end up going to his cousins which was good. We had a fun time at Sushi's place, although not as many people showed up as I was expecting. Still, it was a beautiful day and it was nice to see everyone. And we realized that Sushi's train noise beats Grafix airplane noise ten ways to Sunday.

That's about it. I got a call for a funeral, the first in a month, not counting the cremation we did. Talk about a dry spell. Of course this means I cant take the truck in to get the clutch fork done. Figures. Next week maybe.
