Turkey Trot
Love this weather. So nice to open windows and clean the yard.
This morning Biv (yes, she did come to work today) heard something in the woods, which turned out to be turkeys. Six of them, all hens it looked like, walking through. Too funny. I know, you are going to say something about turkeys and 'turkey's' aren't you? Or is that just me?
One of the times I woke to my alarm this morning there was a song on that was really good, something I think about wolves. But the station is a few days late on posting what they played, so I'll have to wait till next week to try to find out what it was.
I had a woman stop me and ask me if I was hiring. She had been laid off from a job of 20 years, had gotten another job for 2 months, and was laid off again. The woman looked kind of middle aged an with fluffy 'done up' hair. She didn't look like she was the kind of person to be scooping up dog crap covered leaves. She also wanted full time work and thought we were with the town. Probably thinking there were good bennies if nothing else. Sorry, nothing like that here. Just us drug addicts.
The infected toe, it was a torn off toe nail. How that happened, or when? I don't know. But she got codeine for it... num nums.
