Parties and Funerals.
Quick blurb before I pass out.
Picked up my part today. My brother thinks he might be able to get it welded. I'm not so sure, but it's worth a try. Since there is not going to be a $750. transmission replacement.
Had the funeral. Biv is driving me nuts. Her unemployment check didn't come in, so now she calls my cell and wants me to write her a check for just the Sat. pay. I mean Jesus what the fuck? She cant cash it until Monday, when her check will probably come in. So why not just wait till Monday? Hell, if she had fucking worked this week, she would have more money in her pocket right now, but no, she had boo boo toe.
We went to a surprise 40th B-day party for Sushi. She looked shocked when she walked in and saw us there. It was a lot of fun, though sadly the numbers are far smaller these days. Still, a good time, really good food, and hopefully she will enjoy her gift to the max. With seaweed.
We also finally gave out our Christmas gifts. Not quite coordinated this year. Heck, we got lost in the parking garage just trying to do that.
My neighbor's mother died yesterday. I think I'm taking it harder than her at times. I'm the one all blubber about it when she's talking to me. I had to call another neighbor and tell her and I'm all weepy. Of course I also just lost my cat last week, and I'm just blubbery that way anyway. I'll cry at a sad commercial. Pretty pathetic.
Another beautiful day. I guess it won't hurt the laundry to stay out for another day.
