How low can you go?

I was just running my injured son to school, and the news said that Japan's stock market closed lower, due in part because their banks didn't lower the interest rate enough. It only went from .5 to .3 %. I'm sorry, but how low do they think they can go? I mean, that's getting pretty close to negative numbers there. What happens when they run out? ( Read more... )

I caught an NPR story on that and immediately thought of you and this post! Apparently, at the end of the ad that attacks the woman for taking money from "Godless Americans", they sampled a random woman who had been at the meeting saying "I don't believe in God" -but did it in a way as to directly imply that her opponent was the one who said that.

She released her own counter ad, and while the religious bit of it "I do believe in God" was a bit nauseating, she did comment on the part where it was lead to sound like HER voice saying she doesn't believe in God.

Ohhh, election gody goodness abound!!!

Yeah, you wonder if when they make all their adds, they take a little "what would Jesus do? moment and ask themselves "is this right and fair?".
I probably hear the same NPR that you do. lol. I live and die by NPR these days. I'd give them money if I didn't know they would start sending me perpetual requests for more money. That and if they would make the music level the same as the voice level. I hate that.
