How low can you go?

I was just running my injured son to school, and the news said that Japan's stock market closed lower, due in part because their banks didn't lower the interest rate enough. It only went from .5 to .3 %. I'm sorry, but how low do they think they can go? I mean, that's getting pretty close to negative numbers there. What happens when they run out? Do they reverse and start charging interest for savings, and giving money for debt?

Second on my list of OMG, have you seen or heard about the Dole adds? Apparently Dole's opponent met with and even took money from Godless Americans. And the add implies that at this 'secret' meeting, some kind of deal was made with the Godless American, and a voice, not of the candidate herself, proclaims 'there is no god'. I do hope Dole goes down in flames for this. Aren't we supposed to be past religion? Isn't it supposed to be no ones business what religion OR LACK THERE OF you are, and don't even Godless Americans deserve representation in a free country? Mrs. Dole is a disgrace for putting out this deceptive add, and I only wish her opponent had not come back by proclaiming her believe in god, but rather that is shouldn't make a goddam difference what she believes. Just like race isn't supposed to be an issue in an educated election. Dole is gutter trash as far as I can tell, and this is just a sad attempt to gain a few votes. I hope it does exactly the opposite, and gets her kicked out of office. One would think we were beyond this. Perhaps when we elect the first Atheist president.... lol
