8 Days Left

SemBreak Day 8: Sembreak Midterm. As been consistent in this blog series, I noticed that I'm well into my eighth day of my sembreak, and as you can see, eight days are remaining. Now I'm wondering if I counted things right, because I know that I had sixteen days of sembreak, but it doesn't matter now does it? The point is, it seemed that the rest is too short, and I refuse to believe that I'm already halfway through. Denial much? Just like in most things. Being halfway-through the semestral break makes me go through a lot of halfs in my life. How I halfheartedly write this entry in hopes to make something significant out of it, and to complete the vow of blog that I set on during sembreak day 1. How I partition my personality into different aspects of Web 2.0, with hopes to project an image that is unique and vibrant, when really, I'm just an ordinary person of regular middle-class upbringing. Seriously, I keep on looking at my different accounts in microblogs, social networking sites, blog, and all these mesh of a mess and still, I don't know who I am. (What the hell, it sounds so emo, quarterlife crisis ish, but I'm not in that point yet).

Well, I must say, that's just a momentary albeit unnecessary reflection. I must say, that there is one person who I have to share halves with, almost all my life, my sister, Maryko. Seriously, when she was born, I got an anxiety attack at age 2. We grew up together, and it was sort of like the twin I've never had, only she doesn't look exactly like me. I guess her living out of the house during schooldays made me miss her, so now, we've been basically inseparable.

Pancake House Camwhoreage. I love wide mirrors.

She even agreed to participate in my un-started, perfectly titled project, "Shotlifting" (like shoplifting, only you're stealing pictures of you in the clothes rather than stealing the actual clothes).

Pretty dress! Matching, but not quite! =P

We love the dresses' fit, but it was an overpriced cotton jersey made in Turkey, branded in England and could be replicated with the right fabric. *le sigh* It was so pretty but at times of financial crises, reasonable restraint in consumption must be exercised.

sembreak, the unwritten, family
