9 Days Left

SemBreak Day 7: Rainy Days. I was kind of happy when I woke up and it was gloomy outside. Yes, I am the one to speak, with my perky, sunny disposition, that hopefully, I am able to maintain amid the terror that is law school. Nevertheless, I love the rain. I was getting sick of the super sunny days (a.k.a. Summer in October). The rain provides a setting for interesting photography experiments I've never tried, and that above, is a 25" exposure on a street lamp outside the house.

Before I took the shot.
The lamp was the only thing seemingly illuminating the street, so I thought it would make for a nice object of the experiment.

The images turned upside down, so I had to flip them through Photoshop. Here's another try.

Photography aside, it was a nice day to stay in, because it's Tuesday! Tuesday is a superb TV night, following the Monday night programming in the United States. For me, I just catch two shows, Gossip Girl and Heroes. And can I just say, in two of the shows, ultimate BFFs were formed in today's episodes.

Exhibit 1: Jenny Humphrey and Agnes. Jenny is a "working girl", quitting her private school to favour homeschooling so she could accommodate a full-time job with New York designer, Eleanor Waldorf. Agnes, on the other hand, is another model who Jenny had to work with. But they started hanging out, and the episode was witness to the start of a very interesting friendship. Jenny was trying to be responsible, Agnes was the devil's child, with her wild partying and artsy bohemian friends. Suits the actress who plays Agnes, no other than Willa Holland, who plays Kaitlin Cooper in the OC, lending the same attitude as we've seen Marissa's younger sister with when she moved back to the OC after being shipped to boarding school.

Girls Gone Wild On Autumn? Actually, I don't really care that they're doing a photoshoot with their knickers - as Gossip Girl said, but it's what happened after that totally made me love the episode. ♥

Speaking of Gossip Girl, look at our next BFF.

Exhibit 2: Claire Bennett and Elle. Blonde much? Well, who cares. Elle's my absolute fave and I'm glad, and as Lyle would say, "The bitch is back." And guess what? She chose Claire to be her new BFF!! With her orphan status and her uncontrollable Pikachu mode, I see why she chose indestructible, I'm-so-emo-coz-I-can't-feel-pain Claire Bennett. But they're really cute together. If ever Elle blows up the entire electricity grid of wherever they are, they could still have a nice slumber party and paint their toes because you know, even if Claire cuts hers off, it would always grow back.

Claire helping Elle. Again. While this BFF seems rather short-lived (seeing how blood can be thicker than water), I hope that they would still have some Company agent fun in the next episodes. =P
