SemBreak Day 8: Frescorts for hire? Patty (woodycakes) and I love the fact how Olive and Chuck in Pushing Daisies became friends, and über cute undercover aliases Kitty and Patty. Well, Patty's Patty, and I can't really be Kitty, but I might say Hello Kitty is my favourite cat, in fact, the only cat I like because... well... I hate real cats, in general. The first undercover stint Patty/Kitty did for Emerson Cod's private investigation firm is to apply as frescorts for hire. Frescort is short for friend escort, a service that pertains to chums-for-hire for those who are by nature, asocial (there is a difference on being asocial and antisocial FYI, an asocial person is someone who feels discomfort in social situations, antisocial is a deviant who wants to destroy those situations). I must say, at a time of financial crises, I wonder if people could still spare a dime for hiring friends. I mean it's one thing to lend money to a friend who's short on cash, but to pay them for the friendship is actually an insult (Dan Ariley has a delineation for that, of the social norms is highly irreplaceable by market norms). There's something money can't buy, and don't use MasterCard for it either.

Screenshot from the episode of Pushing Daisies with Patty (real character = Olive, played by Kristin Chenoweth) and Kitty (real character = Charlotte, played by Anna Friel) applying as frescorts.

I haven't been shutter-happy lately, that's why I had to use a stock photo of Patty and me. Yesterday, when she went over to hang-out, she was like "I didn't bring a camera because I knew you had one." and I was like "My sister got the nice one, and I have another, but I'm too lazy to use it."

I know right, it's like I'll never say those words. Me??? Too lazy to use a CAMERA??? It's like the world flipped over and suddenly the world is made out of marshmallow and lollipop trees and all the citizens are dentists. That's how bad it doesn't make sense.

And while Patty and I share our love for Pushing Daisies (pleeeeeeeeeease ABC, save it! save it!) and Nate/Jenny ship, and hopefully, Edward Cullen, we didn't share love for HSM 3. She loved it, I... found it so-so. But I must say this again, I really love Kelsi and Ryan!!! Best implicit love team! And look at their wonderful, wonderful prom outfit!

Wonderfully peachy! From MSN.

Honestly, they should make a spin-off of the HSM franchise and focus it on these two, since there's a lot of drama set in Julliard. Throw in the towel and put back Sharpay ♥ as well. WHEEEEEEEEEE. Maybe I'd re-like the franchise when that happens. ^__^

[FYI: This is a backlog entry. I'll change the timestamp to when I decided to write about this topic, but I failed because I decided to lie down and ended up falling asleep. For nine hours. First time in sembreak, because for some reason, I still can't sleep even with all these free time. I am soooo weird.]
