Heavy Metal Elves is an interesting (albeit short) column on Tolkien-inspired music.
There was a small yellow butterfly in my kitchen on Saturday. Luckily I was able to shoo it outside, after a certain amount of effort. Conclusion: butterflies are at least as dumb as flies, just prettier.
Last Friday I got to visit
alisanne and spend the evening with her and C! What fun!
I wasn't thinking when I planned this week's menus. I'm having vegetarian chili for lunches every day, and also made chicken-pumpkin chili that we'll have for dinner three nights. Oops.
