Yes, indeed sore

Also stiff. :-( I might be able to get SO to give me some massage, although I owe him one too.

There was an earthquake here last night; SO first said it was 5.2, later said it was 5.6, so I don't know. I was nearly asleep when it hit and that kind of delayed getting to sleep for a bit. Should've gotten up and gone outside, but I didn't. No damage that we can discern (yet anyhow - but I haven't smelled gas to suggest there's gas line damage, or anything like that), and Juno didn't seem to be bothered by the quake afaik. It's a nice day so the back door is open for her and she is racing around and barking as is her wont.

Most of the week's cooking is done (and was done before 1 pm). Will make the hot & sour soup, rice, and the shrimp stir-fry, in a couple of hours; will make fried green tomatoes the night we have fish & chips. Everything else is finished and stashed in the fridge. I like having hot lunches and making something specifically means that lunch is pre-made all week, which makes the mornings a little less frantic. SO also has a couple of pre-made lunches for the week, finishing off the last of the gumbo.

Have filed a bunch of stuff. Now about to tape walls. Whee. SO is supposedly going to take the paint to be shaken today, but it hasn't happened yet (to be fair, his mom called earlier and that may have disrupted his schedule a bit).

yoga, house, earthquakes, cooking
