Survival of the (un)fitttest

Just a quick note to say that I am not dead yet (TM Monty Python) despite cycling some 140 miles over the last three days. My "good" knee (the other one was already destroyed by a fall from my bike two years ago) is now totally screwed up though and walking is difficult and I don't even want to look at my bike again for a while. It was great fun though if exhausting. A detailed photo diary shall follow. I'm really proud of myself for managing it. I think I'd only ever cycled twenty miles or so in a day before (being the sedentary person that I am) so this is pretty cool.

I'm currently up north at my parents' house and I stupidly left my modem at home so I'm using my dad's computer to get online and it's different and confusing me. I got in at 2.30 this morning (at home) after drinking in West India Quay with friends then having to cycle to Victoria to catch the bus to Oxford. Then my friend and I woke up around nine to drive for over three hours to get here. I'm very sleepy. But my cousin is getting married tomorrow and I have to figure out how I'm going to hide my battered and bruised legs and tragic sunburn.
