I just achieved the seemingly impossible. Because I'm crazy I decided to pick up my old bike from Oxford and take it back to York. It's old and crappy (as you all well know) but it got me to London last year and I love it very much. It sounds easy in theory to move a cycle from Oxford to London. Just a quick note to say that I am not dead yet (TM Monty Python) despite cycling some 140 miles over the last three days. My "good" knee (the other one was already destroyed by a fall from my bike two years ago) is now totally screwed up though and walking is difficult and I don't even want to look at my bike again for a while. Today has been one of those crazy days. I'm setting off on a hundred mile bike ride to London tomorrow with my friend and this morning my bike was, well, less than road worthy shall we say.
