Eclipse!
So, I may have failed to say, on the grounds of March having crept up on me unawares[*], but this weekend we're off to the Faroes for a week to see a total solar eclipse. (It turns out my bucket list is full of astronomical/meteorological/geological phenomena.) SO EXCITED!
The eclipse is next Friday, 20th, starting around 8:30 and reaching maximum at around 9:30, and will be at least 80% in all parts of the UK, so do poke your nose out to have a look. http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/solar.html
[*] With a birthday right at the end of February, you'd think March would be less surprising, but it gets me every time.
