I have seen hell...

... and it is children.  All last week, I would commute to some stupid little private kindergarten and put on a one-man sock puppet show for the young masses.  It is a two-week gig, this week being my final week entertaining the little buggers, and I must say that kindergarteners are an easy audience to please.  The whole thing pays $800, which is a welcome sum, though it barely pays for the aspirin needed to get through the evenings with the little snot-ridden midgets' laughing echoing through my mind.  Ugh, I say!!!

Spoke with some of the stand-up crowd during Mardi Gras break down in New Orleans and I have decided to throw together a sketch comedy group.  Improv groups are so numerous in numbers, so the comedy scene in Louisiana might benefit from some kind of change in its line-up.  Might go around and see who-all would be interested and make it clear how necessary their dedication is, since I don't want another campus group left on my hands.

In other breaking news, I emptied my last box in my apartment and now just need to clean it up a bit and build my new bookcase then BOOM!  I get my second round of furniture delivered, complete with futon, desk, and area rugs.  I'll have my happening bachelor pad in full swing at that point.  And Caleb will be happy to hear that I have a new entertainment center, so he can stop remarking on how it looks like it is going to collapse at any given moment.

End of February/some time in March, I'm going stand-up comedy in Bay St. Louis.  Hurrah for that.

Mi estas studanta Esperanto.  Only in my free tme, though.  That's just how I roll.

Other than that, I've got little else to report, so I'll write more later.
