Lousy work week and the great big happy place finally finished wip fic I read just sort of kicked me in the teeth. Yeah, so I guess this is a sign to lay off the Trek fic for a while. And also a sign to go back to checking out the endings of fic before I invest time and emotion into them. Even for authors I think I can trust apparently. *sigh*.

You know, I've been pretty lucky up till now not to encounter very much badfic. Sure, I know it's out there but I have a tendency to stick with authors I know, or to read recc'd fic and so other than the occasional glimpse, I've managed to avoid it ( Read more... )
