All frosting, no cake
Finished Mag 7--sad. I miss the boys already. Considering the circumstances of the 2nd season it would have been nice if there had been an ep that could serve as both a series finale and a link to the next season and it just didn't feel that way. Of course leaving everything unresolved is great for fanfic but still.
still shipping C/V, B/JD and now J/N and still not seeing the E/V or really Ezra anybody except(see below). Mary got better in the 2nd season but I still found nearly every woman who guested on the show more interesting. And I really loved the women that guested. I canon shipped JD/Casey up until Achilles and Rain/Nathan up until Penance. Frankly after I was left feeling that Casey didn't deserve JD and that Nathan didn't deserve Rain.
Fanfic I really want for this show(if any of this exists, please direct me toward it) You know the problem with being new in an old fandom is you never know if the stuff you're interested in is really weird for the fandom or just has people nodding knowingly and pointing to the 50 fics that cover that.
Fantasy where a demon or satan or some such is frustrated by the boys foiling his plans and basically rewinds things back to ODOW and keeps Lucas James from killing the storeowner, giving the 7 no reason to stay. Obs they find their way back to each other-7 men, 1 destiny. But I'd love a long, plotty a/u showing how and why and what changes.
A good, complex Nathan/Ezra fic that starts with Ezra persuading a disgraced doctor acquaintance that owes him a debt to come to town and let Nathan apprentice with him after events in Achilles and Obsession and takes into account the many, many issues inherent with this pairing and still makes it work.
Mary/Lydia fic, okay pwp really that takes place in the time after Mary's rescue before the women head out to Frisco. Basically in my head, I see Lydia taking Mary's hands in hers, fingers rubbing gently over the Marks on her wrists where she was tied up.
An angsty fic where JD marries Casey and they have a family and Buck sort of makes that his second home and at some point JD realizes he is in love with Buck, only Casey kind of falls for Buck too, but they love each other as well. Yes, I want a happy ending to this. A convoluted threesome in which ever way works for them.
Long, plotty Chris/Vin either OW(in which case I want Vin's situation resolved) or ATF. With lots of team. I know this is out there, just need to find it. The shorter emotional pieces are great but I want less emo, more ass kicking.
Mary/Vin where an attraction develops when she is teaching him to read but nothing comes of it until they are both pissed at Chris after events of Obsession and turn to each other. Temporary pairing as my OTP is Chris/Vin.
