I had to stop for gas on my way to work this morning so I stopped at our local Sunoco station. I noticed that they are holding a contest for "the chance" to win a custom chopper from Orange County Choppers (ooooh! ahhhh!) Well, in order to get a game card you must fill your tank with at least 10 gallons of gas then take the receipt to the Gas Station Cash Register Person. 10 gallons? I think that's blatant discrimination against owners of small cars. I've never needed to put 10 gallons into my car in the six years I've owned it. Even when my gas light goes on I still fill up with no more than 9.5 gallons. Generally my fill-ups are even less since I try to get to a station before I get below a quarter of a tank. How in the world would I then get to enter said contest? Stupid Station Biased Toward Giant Cars (not that I want the chopper...it's the principle)
