What an odd year. In the span of the last 12 months, I lived in a foreign country, worked for Parliment, lost two people I was really close to, had two of the best semesters ever, and gained a really hot girlfriend. Two of my closest friends got engaged, I changed my post-graduation plans for the first time in 9 years, I became the top debator at my school, I got into what will be the last show of my college career, finally got to know D.C., etc...
I mean, there were some completely terrible things that happened this year, see the deaths in the family, but overall, this has been a really good year for me. I've always thought that if there was some way to get a me from every minute of my life- as in a different me for every minute I've lived, it would result in a lot of me beating the crap out of myself because I'm so obstinate yet I learn a lot, so the disagreements in opinion and on principal would just cause violence. But this year, if there was a paul from every minute, I don't think there'd be much fighting at all. I think that's some sort of progress.
By next year I want to have won a lot of money in poker and be finacial secure (resolution).
