So in the continuing saga of the new house, I went down to the Shasta Property Management offices today to check on the cleaning bill I dropped off at the beginning of last week. The person that takes care of maintenance was in and I got to speak with her directly. Apparently there was a miscommunication and they had not replaced the carpet pad yet

It seems our AC/Heater has been running for sometime - neither Simmon or I knew about this and we figured it was either or running it. After Simmon left for Willits on the weekend I tried to turn the AC/Heater off, but the unit would not shut off. This concerns us both because our electric bill was $140 which is WAY too much for the both of us not being at the house for a week. We don't run the PC's I tend to not even touch the AC. After a day of waiting for our Rental management to get back they went ahead and fixed the issue - but now it is back up and running again!
Also we have light switches that do not work, garage plugs that are dead and a outdoor spigot that is stripped. They still have not come out to fix these two issues.
