472 words written so far today, but I am still well ahead of the goal -- this vacation is exactly why I have prepared for days when I would be too busy (with FUN stuff) to write. Maybe more words later, probably not. More words tomorrow, for sure, how many, I don't know yet. New total: 37,663.

But the really big standouts for me last year were Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, and Mr Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan -- I hope these two authors have a lot more stories to tell ( Read more... )
