A couple of weeks ago, I did a meme post, of which the second line is:
Watch my journal over the next few days week or so for a post just about you and why I think you are absolutely fabulous.
I hope
little_tristan doesn't think I forgot her reply to that post, because I didn't.
But that's one of the many reasons I'm so fond of L_T -- that is, she doesn't nag about the (many) things I've forgotten.
At the same time, L_T is very honest, especially when there's something that can be improved. That's part of the reason I wanted her to beta my latest novel, and why I'm glad she did. I know that it wouldn't have been nearly as good without her help and guiding hand.
I love L_T because she's a fellow Murray girl, as well as a fellow T.B. fangirl, and is more than willing to squee together.
L_T also loves hurt/comfort as much as I do, and is ready, willing, and able to squee over that, too.
I love how we can talk about religion, even though we have some differences in belief, and that she's someone that I can disagree with without feeling like I have to defend my thoughts on the subject.
I love that we both love kitties, and love to write, and that we invented the fun army.
I love that we can talk about any book or author, whether both of us have read it or heard of it or not, and still have a fun and interesting and often educational conversation.
I love that one of the first things L_T wanted to show me when I visited last year was her (home) library, and then her public library. Her love of books makes me very happy.
I love how we giggled in Powell's Books and didn't want to leave, and how we laughed until we snorted while trying to find a place to eat on the way home.
And I even love how we both cried when we had to say goodbye, and I love that I'll get to see her again in just over two weeks!
