I don't know adamant_turtle as well as I know some of my other online friends, but I look forward to getting to know her better.
In the meantime, some of the things we share in common are a love of: books, reading (not necessarily the same as "books"), writing, and beating people at Scrabble.
We also both laugh at the most inopportune times, and we both live with chronic illnesses.
I enjoy reading her posts about her adorable doggie, and her posts about work, including stories of stupid students, stupider parents, weird (yet amusing) coworkers, and weird and... well, her boss is just *weird*.
Her ability to see the humor in life, and sometimes not see the humor, but to keep going anyway without permanently losing it is inspiring.
