There's a longish short story about this, but short version is... I just got my ass handed to me by Rick James and the key of C# (concert).

On the one hand, it's nice to get the respect of your peers, especially when they didn't know you *were* one as recently as Monday. On the other hand, it doesn't take long to figure out how much of a one-trick-pony you are until you've hung out with musicians of the calibre that I've been playing with in the last 72 hours.

Fuck! Yay! Arggh.
