People who are close to me probably have figured out I'm looking for reasons to continue, and a couple of weeks ago I posted some pics on the instagrams of some people who are among the reasons I continue to do music. One of them texted me today:

On the one hand, it's nice to get the respect of your peers, especially when they didn't know you *were* one as recently as Monday. On the other hand, it doesn't take long to figure out how much of a one-trick-pony you are until you've hung out with musicians of the calibre that I've been playing with in the last 72 hours.
