Meds - Reglan and Metronidazole
I took Moo to the vet today because he had been vomiting the night before. The vet prescribed reglan and metronidazole to help with the vomiting and inflammation. I've looked them both up online and a possible side effect listed is nausea and vomiting. the vet told me no, they don't causes this. Excessive drooling, and behavior changes with metronidazole (but only in high doses which he isn't getting).
Has anyone else given their cats either of these? The vet also said it could just be that Moo didn't like the taste and threw it up, or that he doesn't take liquid medicines well.
Also, on Monday he had his vaccinations and rabies. Has anyone had the cat react badly this much later to the vaccines? The vet didn't think so, but it has made me wonder.
