Wednesday was not our day, visa wise.
But it did contain a selection of awesome sandwiches, and the finding of a thing I've been wanting to buy and experiment with but didn't know if I could get in NZ (
Poachies). Some of the awesome sandwiches were a result of my husband's acquiescence to my demands for afternoon-tea-for-dinner, which is a lot like breakfast-for-dinner, but more little sandwichy.
All in all the sandwich parts of the day were excellent, which is good, because the parts of the day that were less sandwichy and more argh-argh-my-sinuses-are-going-to-explode-my-head-hurts were less good. A front moved through today, with a weather shift and massive pressure change. ASK ME HOW I KNOW.
Ignoring the whole ear-head-sinus infection debacle, though, I also repainted my nails glorious shiny slightly sparkly red, of the sort more usually reserved for special occasion nails, particularly those sorts of special occasions that fall between December 24th and December 26th. They make me happy to look at.
Now we commence Operation Getting To Bed At A Decent Hour, Cat. It possibly needs a zippier name.
