So, my parents have just left. We had a massively enjoyable Thanksgiving; my mom and I cooked for a good deal of last night and almost all of today, and dad helped do things like wrestle the turkey's wings into place underneath it, and help lift the finished 19.75lb bird out of the roasting pan. I'm cooking in the kitchen with mom- fun times trying to keep Copernicus out of the oven, off the stove, and out of the sink.:)

Thanks to all for the lovely birthday wishes/phone calls/ cards and gifts. I couldn't believe so many people actually remembered- ha! The St. Luke's choir even brought in a cake at the end of rehearsal and sang "Happy Birthday" to me. Squeeee ( Read more... )
