Today, I embark for Florida. I should arrive in Port Richey sometime Monday afternoon.

Just had an amazing and productive recording session. Rehearsals for Haydn's Missa in Angustiis begin today. I have a major head cold and so there won't be any rockin' soprano solo until at least the middle of this week.

I was waitlisted at Brevard. I'm already committed to the program in Florida, but it's nice to know that I met the criteria for admission at another place, as well- even if they don't yet have a place for me. :)

I have just been accepted as a Young Artist into the Intermezzo Opera Festival in Florida!

The operas this summer are Die Zauberflote (how does one make an o-umlaut here, exactly?), Albert Herring, and FalstaffRole assignments and other such information will go out after they finish their auditions in a week ( Read more... )

I got my assignment for next semester's Opera Workshop.

I'm in two scenes. One is from The Crucible, in which I play an African-American slave accused of witchcraft.

The other is from- get this-Goetterdaemmerung. I am Wellgunde, one of the Rheinmaidens. BRING IT!
