My Sister Visits This Weekend
Which is a nice happy yayy! thing.
I went to Taupo Joust, did not get sunburned, and acquired a few pictures. I will write a more detailed account when I am on the computer that has the pictures.
I won half of a writing award! (For the mini-larp, But Nobody Loses An Eye!, submitted in a KapCon competition.) Feeling pretty yayy!
I came back from Taupo with several more craft projects in the offering. Am not allowing myself to start any until I finish the Victorian ball dress, so there. (Have borrowed a cd version of Fasper Fforde's Something Rotten to carry me through the hours of handsewing yet to happen.
Turns out I have freakishly wide feet, and should really be shopping in the boys' sizes. Not exactly a yayy!, but still useful information.
And the weather is really hot, and I'm stuck in Massey Library cowering away from the sun, and I really need to work out when the next bus away from here goes. We are, however, still at a plus yayy! value, so it's all good.
