I pre-ordered my copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows today - guaranteed to arrive on the release date (a Saturday) or it's free. Which is cool. The last book got spoiled for me, so I plan on not leaving the house or using the internet until I'm done (which will probably be sometime early on Sunday morning.) Sadly, a store I shop at a heck of a lot!

I just woke up. It's around 12:30 or so. And it's snowing. We got a bit about a month ago, but it just dusted the trees and moved on. This is coming down lightly and quickly and covering everything completely. It looks beautiful. We'll see how long it lasts. I'd like to go for a walk later, maybe we will.

We haven't been in Ikea since we were renovating - which I suppose is a good thing. We love all the things we own from there, and those of you who have been in our home know that's a lot of stuff. I cant see a single piece of furniture in our bedroom that isn't from Ikea.

I've been talking about picking up the guitar again. I went through it briefly, and can pick my way through a few different songs, but I've never been able to play the guitar like I can play the piano. It doesn't bring me that same easy joy. I broke down last night and bought crocs. We happened to be driving by a huge garden centre on Eglinton Ave - Plant World - and it was actually before nine o'clock for once - so I pulled in. I had heard they sold crocs. And they did. The had the red ones I REALLY REALLY want, but one size too small which I was very sad about. I settled for pink, ( Read more... )

We think it's really clever that Trevor (our cat) can play fetch. It's great, we like it. The problem, of course, arises in the fact that it requires the interaction of one of us to play fetch, and sometimes Trevor wants to play at innapropriate time.
