Offers and cheques 2.0
Got back a signed and altered offer today. So it's in negotiations, but we're on our way. Essentially, it's not written in stone, but we have acknowledged that I want to buy; they want to sell to me. The major factors like price and closing date are not under dispute, but a few small details in specific clauses have to be ironed out before the lawyers on both sides will concede the offer is mutually beneficial.
Today I did nothing but retouch pieces of glass while Matthew shot them. We did have some very tasty fish and chips for lunch, and I am not going to complain about sitting in a comfortable chair, working, and finishing "Memoirs of a Geisha" while actions and macros run.
I am in every sense of the word, emotionally and physically exhausted. With the offer, and the hectic-ness of the past two weeks, I'm looking forward to sharing a bottle of wine with Justin, and bracing ourselves for the holidays.
