So, I made this today. It probably sounds crazy, but it was originally supposed to be a skirt inspired by a fire hydrant. It was supposed to be pleated all the way around, but I cut it all wrong, etc. etc.

Anyway, this is it...those straps aren't the real ones, they were just pinned on to see what it'd look like.

haha, so, NEAR FATAL BIKE CRASH on youtube, ie the one that I put up of me bike riding in Walmart, has had over 2000 views and there are like 5 comments along the lines of, "your retarded...." etc etc

but I think it's funny.

Today was amazingly gorgeous and warm... I love weather like this, it makes me instantly happy and fanciful

I've made a lot of stuff lately, but this is just the most recent. I made it on Sunday.

So, basically, the saga of the red plaid shirt into a red plaid dress was a sad one. What with my crazy cutting and not conserving fabric, after making the entire dress, sans sleeves, I realized I wouldn't have enough material to make the sleeves, and I'm not all up on the sleeve-making business yet so I wasn't really sure how to do inserts. somehow upon my stay here I have amassed a vast collection of hats

Heart palpitations at 4 in the morning are hardly conducive to a restful evening, especially when all I wanted to do was go get a sandwich the next morning at Jack's Deli.
