...sorry, I just had to say that!
Today I made my third crockpot dinner. It started out being a
Moroccan Eggplant Stew, but then I added:
- Half a butternut pumpkin
- A green capsicum
- Four little potatoes
- Probably 3/4 cup of frozen corn
- Some minced ginger
It turned out pretty tasty, although it smelled disconcertingly like cinnamon all afternoon

First of all, I didn't realise I'd done anything that needed forgiving. ;-)
Actually, as I was putting things in the crockpot I was wondering if I'll every get to be as inspired a stoop maker as you. I was going to put carrot in it, too, except there was a lot of stuff in there already and I was tired of chopping (pumpkin does it to me every time). D2 would be especially unpleased at the carrot connection.
Craig, in turn, had a bowlful and then decided it was nachos filling! (Picture half a bowl of corn chips, plus my impromptu moroccan stew and rice! Pearls before swine, I tell you!)
I'll have to invite you over some time and I'll cook something really off the wall, just for old time's sake...
